Very efficient and professional. I had a fire alarm system fitted at my property in South Manchester. The engineers arrived on time, worked cleanly, and got everything done in a day…
Intruder alarms · Bolton
Intruder alarms for Bolton homes and businesses, planned around how someone could get in, fitted by our engineers and priced in writing first.

Overview
Alarm installation in Bolton starts on your doorstep. An engineer walks the property, works out where someone could get in and what needs protecting, and turns that into a design and a written quote. Once you agree it, we fit the alarm, check it works and show you how to use it.
We travel to Bolton from our Manchester base. If you are comparing Bolton alarms companies, or looking at burglar alarms for a house, a shop or an office in the town, the first conversation is about the building rather than a product. Every alarm we fit is planned from that visit.
What we provide
What comes with every alarm installation we carry out in Bolton.
The survey looks at the ways into the building first, and the alarm is designed around them.
The alarm is installed by British Engineers once you have accepted the quote.
What is being fitted, where it goes and what it costs, all set out before you decide.
Once the alarm is in, you still have a contact at British Engineers for any questions.
Options
There is no standard Bolton alarm package. What we recommend comes out of the survey, and the quote explains it.

How it works
From your first call to an alarm you can set yourself.
Where it is in Bolton, what kind of building it is and what needs protecting.
An engineer looks round, checks the entry points and talks through how the place is used.
We plan the alarm from what the survey found and send you the scope and cost in writing.
With the quote accepted, our engineers fit and set up the system.
We test and commission the system, then talk you through setting and unsetting it.
Handover
Before we leave, the alarm is tested and commissioned, and you try setting and unsetting it yourself so you know it works the way you expect.
Each part of the installed alarm is checked before we finish.
The system is set up to work the way it was designed.
You set and unset it yourself while the engineer is still there.

Who it is for
We fit intruder alarms for both homes and business premises in Bolton.
Bolton
A lot of Bolton housing is terraced, with back yards, rear doors and alleyways behind the row, so the back of the property can matter as much as the front. Shops and business units bring their own questions about who opens up and when. Each of these shapes where detection goes, which is why we look at the property before anything is designed.

Help & FAQs
Mainly the size and layout of the property, how many entry points need covering and how much of the building you want protected. You get the price in writing after the survey, so you know the cost before agreeing to anything.
It depends on the building and how much the alarm needs to cover. The quote comes with an estimate of how long the work will take.
An engineer visits, walks round inside and out, looks at the doors, windows and other ways in, and asks how the property is used. That is what the design and the written quote are based on.
If there is already an alarm at the property, the engineer looks at it during the survey and tells you what the options are before anything is quoted.
