Overview

Network Services

A network has to fit the site it serves, so the work starts with understanding your premises and what the network needs to reach. We then plan the installation, put the price in writing, and with your agreement our engineers do the work.

Whether you're putting in a new network or expanding one that's already there, the same approach applies. Business network installers, commercial network installation and office network installation all begin at the same place: a visit to see the premises before a single point is placed.

Process

Our Network Survey and Installation Process

Six steps from the first message to a network you can use.

  1. Enquiry

Describe the site and what the network has to serve.

  2. Site assessment

An engineer visits to look at your premises and anything already in place.

  3. Project planning

We map out the network from what the engineer has seen on site.

  4. Written quote

The plan is priced in writing before you commit to anything.

  5. Installation

The agreed network work is carried out on site.

  6. Testing and handover

We check the network is working properly and walk you through it.

Cost

What Affects Network Project Costs

A network installation is priced around your site, not from a standard rate card: the figure follows the assessment rather than coming before it.

  • Site size and layout

A larger or more complicated site takes more work to install into.

  • Preparatory work

Anything the site needs doing before the network itself can go in.

  • Existing infrastructure

Whether it's kept, changed or removed as part of the project.

  • How far the network needs to reach

A wider spread of points to connect adds to the job.

Very efficient and professional. I had a fire alarm system fitted at my property in South Manchester. The engineers arrived on time, worked cleanly, and got everything done in a day…

Help & FAQs

Network FAQs

How much does network installation cost?

It depends on your site and the work involved: there's no standard figure. The price is confirmed in a written quote after a site assessment.

How long does network installation take?

It varies with the site and how much the project covers, so we won't put a figure on it in advance: the timescale comes with your written quote.

What happens during a network installation site survey?

An engineer looks at your premises and anything already in place, discusses what the network needs to support, then confirms what's needed in a written quote.

Can you work with existing network systems?

Often, yes. What's already there is looked at during the site assessment, and we tell you what can stay and what would need to change.

Which areas do you cover?

Manchester and Greater Manchester; further afield, ask us first.
